IronStrike helps companies transform through communications.

We help leaders at companies of all sizes navigate organizational change—and transform through communications. And we’re not talking about a small move of the needle. We’re talking about big, transformative change. A new product or service introduction. A shift in leadership or culture. Even a merger or acquisition.

We often counsel non-profits, small- to mid-sized businesses and Fortune 500 companies in highly specialized industries like healthcare, technology, education and manufacturing. And we’re proud of the deep experience we bring to the table for clients in these and other industries.

We’re also selective in the type and number of clients we serve—preferring quality over quantity. This enables us to provide superior customer service, while creating partnerships with real staying power. Why do we care? Because we know we owe our rock-solid reputation to our clients.

We hope you’ll take a few minutes to check out the experiences of some of our featured clients.

Change management communications

The work of Store Graphic Artists (SGA) at Whole Foods Market is some of the most visible to customers. It helps create an environment that promotes Whole Foods Market products and supports sales generation. So when the role of SGA was changing, Whole Foods Market was keen to ensure the change went smoothly. Whole Foods Market partnered with IronStrike to provide a framework plan addressing employee engagement and training needs, with our efforts focused on helping SGA plan and prioritize for success.

“IronStrike spent time with our team to become immersed in the business need and from there shared ideas with us on how to best move through the change. Their approach was practical and logical, yet at the same time innovative and forward thinking.”

IronStrike has been privileged to work with three Disciples of Christ ministries: Pension Fund, Disciples Church Extension Fund (DCEF) and Hope Partnership for Missional Transformation. We recently guided DCEF and Hope Partnership through a series of workshops/meetings to help them identify and solve some marketing needs. We’re also serving as a strategic partner and project manager for the redesign of their website.

“Because we had turned to IronStrike a few years ago to help us with a Marketing audit we were conducting and their process was so thorough, we immediately thought of them to help guide us through some culture shifts around our marketing needs, research, strategies and complete redesign of our website. They have been great partners with us during the entire journey and we’d certainly consider turning to them as consultants whenever needed in the future!”

Communications audit, messaging, marketing strategy

The de Paul School, an independent school in Louisville, tapped IronStrike to conduct a communications audit to assess current perceptions among faculty, staff, donors, board of trustees, volunteers and parents. In early 2017, IronStrike made recommendations to the school on a path forward for its marketing team to implement.

“The de Paul School engaged IronStrike to assist us in crafting better messaging regarding our school’s mission, methodology and distinctions. IronStrike oversaw an expeditious yet comprehensive study which has led to many positive outcomes. Our internal and external communications are now better synched, with a new website as the centerpiece of our media. Our “de Paul Difference” has never been more clearly articulated and, consequently, better understood by current and prospective families. We heartily recommend IronStrike.”

Aging and Community Services of South Central Indiana, Inc. and Housing Partnerships, Inc. consolidated their programs to enable both organizations to expand social and human services to clients and focus on comprehensive community development. IronStrike and fundraising consultant Jessica White Associates supported the transition through innovative marketing and development work, respectively. Based on our research and recommendations, the combined agencies are now known as Thrive Alliance.

“I have partnered with IronStrike on several projects, including Thrive Alliance, and they are a delight to work with. They are talented communications professionals who take the time to listen to clients but, most importantly, create a product that meets the need.”

Internal communications, strategic planning

Indianapolis-based RATIO Architects Inc. expanded its opportunity to serve businesses in the southeastern U.S. through a merger with a Raleigh-based design firm. RATIO partnered with IronStrike to connect with internal audiences including employees, vendors and suppliers, and to provide marketing support. Key communication tools included studio visits, an open house, “fast facts” to share with employees and underwriting on WFYI in the Raleigh community. Among RATIO’s key merger objectives were to maintain staff and to develop a higher profile in the southeastern U.S. Within the first year, the Indianapolis and Raleigh studios collaborated on one new client project. IronStrike’s successful role in the merger was recognized with two Pinnacle Awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Hoosier Chapter.
